Scrunchies have been around since the 80s. Using elastics can damage fine hair so the added layer of material protects against this.
I can use one of these to hold all of my dreads, and I have over 80 dreadlocks that come down passed my hips, so they are quite resilient as well as looking great! Big dreads are no problem for these scrunchies. 💪
